AVIF Image Format AVIF Converter
AVIF files are a relatively new format used for digital images, first introduced in 2019. The name is short for ‘AV1 Image File Format’. It’s an open file-type that’s not owned by any one tech company. AVIF files are designed to improve on formats like JPG, PNG and GIF, in part because they can offer better image quality but with much smaller file sizes. Because it’s such a new format, you may not be able to open AVIF files in all image editors and viewers. However, support is increasing, and AVIF files can now be opened by some web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. Apple, Android, and Linux devices with the most recent operating systems can also open AVIF files in their Photos apps. If you want to edit your AVIF files, the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop with the AVIF plug-in, Microsoft Paint, and GIMP are applications you could use.
PS Document Format PS Converter
The programming language Adobe PostScript uses the PS file format. PostScript was introduced in 1982 as a way of turning digital text documents or images into a fixed format that was ready for print. Users with a PostScript-enabled printer could print PS files directly without opening them. PostScript is still available to download, but it has been mostly replaced by PDF, which is another Adobe product. PostScript is technically a vector graphics file and you can enlarge PS files for print or viewing without losing resolution. However, you can select, highlight and copy individual sections of text in a PDF, which isn’t possible in a PS file.
PS is no longer universally supported because it’s been replaced by PDF. However, you can open PS files in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop, and create PS files using InDesign. You can also get plug-ins for some browsers that can support PostScript.
How to convert a AVIF to a PS file?
