X3F Image Format X3F Converter
The X3F format is a type of raw image file associated with the Japanese photography company SIGMA. The full name of the format type is SIGMA X3F Camera Raw File. A raw image is the original unprocessed photograph exactly as it was captured by a digital camera’s CCD sensor. They are high quality images, but they can be very large files. Raw files also contain metadata, including the colour, saturation and temperature levels. These levels can be edited more precisely in photo editors, and photographers and graphic designers usually prefer to work with raw files.
You can open and edit X3F files with photo-editing software like Adobe Photoshop, Corel PaintShop Pro and SIGMA’s own Photo Pro software, and view them with some file viewers. If you’re sharing photos in X3F format with others, you might find it better to convert them into a compressed format like JPG.

PCX Image Format PCX Converter
The PCX file format was introduced by ZSoft in the 1980s for Paintbrush Bitmap Image files. The Paintbrush software was developed for Windows PCs as a drawing and graphics editing program. Like other bitmap images, PCX files are raster images comprising pixels in a grid. The PCX format supported 24-bit colour, 8-bit greyscale and 1-bit black and white images. PCX files were compressed to make the file size smaller.
The format is not very commonly used anymore, especially as ZSoft no longer exists. However, the PCX format is still used by some scanners and fax machines. If you have a PCX image, you should still be able to open it in most programs that support raster files. These include Microsoft Photos, Apple Photos, Apple Preview, Google Photos, and image editors like Adobe PhotoShop, CorelDRAW or Corel PaintShop Pro.
