Why rotate BMPs?
The bitmap (BMP) format is used for storing uncompressed, high-quality images, ideal for digital art, graphic design, and technical drawings, where every detail counts. However, the format doesn't store metadata about orientation, meaning that if the image was captured at the wrong angle, you'll need to manually rotate it to get it to display correctly. You might also want to rotate your BMP file to prepare it for printing or before converting it to another image format like JPG or PNG.
